Antibacterial-Coated, Monofilament Poly(glycolide-co-caprolactone) 25 (PGCL) synthetic absorbable suture
Monoswift® Plus sutures provide the same feel, handling and performance of our Monoswift® product, but with the added assurance of antibacterial protection.
Monoswift® Plus sutures are coated with the proven antibacterial agent, chlorhexidine diacetate, that results in a zone of inhibition around the suture line. This agent is recognized as being effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermis, MRSA and MRSE.
